virus or spyware problem!!!

B

Boclimited

I am getting a system alert that tells me it has detected active
spyware that could be damaging my computer and want's me to download
offically approved spyware program to fix it but it cost like 50
dollars. Also when I open my internet explorer I get a windows
internet exlorer warning me of a virus. In specific gives me the name
of it and all the details along with it, also giving me
recommendations to once again download a different approved maleware
program. Behind the warning instead of my cable homepage coming up a
internet security page comes up, with warnings of being vulnerable to
computer attacks, with specific files and folders.
I have ran every scan I can think of and can't get my homepage back
up. I've bought mcAfee internet security suite and tried that, but
none of their scans fixed my problem. I've done a complete DOS scan
and it found nothing. So I cancelled my mcAfee subscription because
they were pretty useless for my problem.
If ANYONE can PLEASE help me with my problem I would seriously
appreciate it.
