Sent Items Folder not showing new Sent Items...

In Outlook 2000 on my 5 year-old PC with Intel4 processor...
Recently sent items no longer show in my Sent Items folder. The older (1
week ago) items are still there, but the lastest Sent Items are not showing...
This is a serious problem for our business! Outlook has served us well in
the past.
I have read all recent threads written by those with similar concerns,
without any help from those postings.
I would appreciate anyone's time in fixing this problem.
Thank you for any response.

Send a test mail with a Subject on which you can search (i.e., something
that you will remember and is somewhat unique from any other e-mail that
you have sent, like including today's date, time, and maybe your
3-character initials enclosed in pound signs). After the message sends
successfully (i.e., no longer in your Outbox), select the root node in
the folders tree (i.e., your local message store) and right-click to use
Find to go hunting for the just sent e-mail. Search on the unique
Subject line that you used. Where does it show up in the Find dialog?
If it is in the 'Sent Items' folder then perhaps you need to investigate
the settings for the view on that folder. If it got put in a different
folder then you need to check if you have the option "In folders other
than the Inbox, save replies with original message" (which only applies
for replies), check your rules, or check your anti-spam software.
