Sending Email

I am using my laptop, away from home, and suddenly can "receive," but not
"send" emails. I am using "Windows Mail." This is the message I keep
getting:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re: Trip Insurance',
Account: '(e-mail address removed)', Server: 'outgoing.verizon.net', Protocol:
SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Can you tell me what I need to do? Thanks!
