Sending email from web page

I have XP SP2 and IE6. When I try to set up a mail service in IE6 by going
to "tools, internet options, programs" I find the selection for email is
blank and will not allow me to set up an entry. Please help clear this up so
that it works properly. Thank you.
 
Have you setup an e-mail account? To do so either use Outlook Express or
install another mail program of you choice. Create an account through your
ISP.
