Sending a reminder to someone else

I created a task and e-mailed to someone else. I basically want to remind
them on a future day to do something. However, when I forwarded the task
that I created and that person opened it (the reminder was turned on) and
they saved it, it wasn't in their task of folder list even after that.
Everything looked fine and everything seemed to save a OK. What happened to
it and where did it go?

The bottom line is all I want to do is send a reminder to someone else.

Did you use the Calendar to do this? Are you both in the same Exchange
environment?

I used "Tasks" to do this. I'm only using outlook, I'm not using exchange.
