Reminder PopUp

I have code that produces and email when i generate a new task or calendar
item. This gets sent when the reminder popup box appears. I want to keep the
reminder option active but would like to keep the popup box disabled. Is
there someway to do this?

I don't think you can disable the reminder and still trigger the email -
which is what I think you want to do. In order to trigger the email, you
need to have an event happen and the reminder is that event. The reminder
can't fire silently (that I know of) - it needs to popup the reminder
window.

Best bet is to repost in the programming vba group "down the hall" and
clarify what you what to happen. There might be a way to trigger based on a
date field.
