Send/Receive will not complete

I am using Outlook 2002 SP3. My email provider is POP/SMTP. When I click on
send/receive the status display in the lower right hand corner displays
"Send/Receive Status xx%" This morning it is at 9. It usually hovers around
51%. It does not receive any email. I have been forced to used my web browser
to check email.

Do all the messages you see via the web interface look normal? What happens
if you increase the server timeout value in your account properties (on the
Advanced tab)?

Have you checked your time-out settings in your mail account? It could be
that your mail account is set to disconnect after a set time, say 1 or 2
minutes, and your email can't download in that length of time.
