Send EMAIL to a category of contacts

Ok, I would like to send an email to all of my contacts in a certain
category. I dont need a mailing list, but would like the mail to go out
individually so my customers do not see that I am sending it to every
one....

A plus would be to merge some fields in there like the first name and
company.

That is called a mail merge.

1. Define a new table view that is limited to your category only. That is
optional, but then you'd have to get fancy with selecting contacts if you
did it from a general view.
2. Run a Mail Merge from Outlook from the Tools menu.
3. This works for both Outlook and BCM contact folders.
