Was performing a cleanup on daughters computer by removing unknown and unused
programs with "Control Panel" and "Add/Remove Programs". When I removed a
program whose name escapes me it instantly restarted the PC and here I am.
The login screen contains 2 users, my daughters and mine both of which
respond the same. Any help on getting by the login in screen would be greatly
appreciated. -Mike

Have a look at this link..
See section "Unable to logon to Windows after removing BlazeFind using a

You could try this, boot into safe mode
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q315222) then log
in, then start>run and type

regedit

then find
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

in the right hand pane look for a possible value

"shutdown [-l]"

Good Luck
