Selecting multiple docs to print...

Whe I select multiple documents to print (these happen to be .pdf's) by
highliting them->right click->select the "Print" option, only one or two of
the documents ever does actually print. I basically have to select each doc
one by one to print from the "Windows Explorer" window...

No error messages or anything like that ever received, they just don't
print...

Any ideas what may be casuing this?

Thanks,

Brad

It happens to Word docs too, so I am thinking it's more of an OS issue than
anything in all likilihood....

Maybe it has to do with the size of the docs?? Maybe it does not spool
properly with larger docs?

Any ideas?

Exactly so.

Reader, in all its various revisions up till now,
has been one of THE most problematic apps I
have ever used.

If it wasn't necessary, I wouldn't have it.

All kinds of weird video driver and printer
misbehavior.

What is "reader" you are referring to??

And do you think we are simply euchered on this one or is there a fix out
there?

Thanks,

Brad

Acrobat Reader, the app you are using to view/print
..PDF's.

I think the best course of action would be to just
print them one at a time...unless you have endless
amounts of time to look for the computer/printer/
video card combination that allows multiple print to work.

Remember, when you select multiple docs to print,
MOST of the time, if you watch carefully, you will
see that the app required to print them is launched
seperately for each doc you want to print. Use Task
Manager to confirm this.

This eats memory/CPU in a really big hurry which can
bring the system to it knees. Lots of apps don't like
to see multiple copies of itself running...Reader just
might be one of them.
