Seeing e-mail folders in tasks etc

I have Outlook 2003.

I can see three e-mail folders (e.g., Inbox) under My tasks, My Contacts, My
Notes. If I delete them under these headings I also delete them from my
e-mail section.

Is this a configuration problem? How do I set up outlook so I only see
these folders in my e-mail section?

Display Outlook with the all Folders view and simply move them to where they belong.

I see the three folders in the e-mail section of outlook as well as in My
Tasks etc. In the all folders view the folders appear in the list once under
personal folders. I don't understand why they should apprear in the My tasks
window?
