Security wont let it start

First i would be asked for a password to a unknown user. now on startup i get a blue box that says power o
password on
the keys on my keyboard do nothing exept the enter key witch repets the message 3 times then nothing
This computer is not conected to the internet or on a local network.

Presumably Windows 2000 never starts, so your question has nothing to do
with Windows 2000. Chances are that you're dealing with a BIOS password.
Open your box, remove the battery (if you can find it!) and wait 10 minutes.
This should reset your password (and the date & time!).
