I have a power on password set at work and I usually remove it when I go
on vacation so other folks can use my computer. For some unknown
reason my computer is acting funny when I try to re-enter the password.
I go into the Setup and enter the password and save/exit. Now the
computer reads booting to hard drive but does Not ask for password, then
it loads windows and I have no keyboard or mouse controls. I go back
into the set up and it ask for the password like normal. Since it
freezes the mouse & keyboard I have no choice but to Remove the
password. Any ideas why I can no longer use the power on password
feature..
