Security Tab

When I get into the properties for any folder, there is
no Security tab. And this can hypothetically be remedied
by going into the View tab on Folder Options in the
Control Panel and unchecking "Use simple file sharing,"
something which, likewise, does not exist. I am using
the Administrative account, and know my way around a
computer fairly well, but I'm stumped by this. Any help
would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Ben, I'm guessing you have home edition. If so, you have to boot into
safe mode to get the security tab to appear in folder properties. Give that
a shot.
