Security Policy Blocking Windows Updates

I have inherited a windows 2000 server with XP clients. I am trying to run
windows updates on the XP clients I get a message that a policy is preventing
me from updating the files. I have gone through the policies on the server
and think I have disabled them all but it dows not seem to help. It dows not
matter if I log on as the user or administrator.

Any help is appreciated.

Why not try the WU NG, give as much information as possible.
