Security Center problem

I'm using XP-pro Serv Pack 2. I'm getting a security center message that
said's the following: Virus protection not found. I'm using CA software that
come with my sbc service. CA is approve by microsoft. Can anyone help.

RE: security go to control panel open security firewall etc. and check out if
it is on & do the configuration there !!

Hi Mack, Thank you for your quick response. I've checked the firewall setting
and they are on. Is there any else you can think of.

hi, windows firewall doesn't always detect virus protection installed, to
check that your virus protection is up to date and working you will need to
go to the vender site and see if they have a test you can run to make sure
it's working. sorry I can't be of much help as I'm not familiar with the
version of virus protection you are using. maybe one of the great people here
are using or have knowledge of the virus protection and can help you further.

the way, I'm using Computer Associate anti virus software.
