security center and virus protection

My anti-virus is McAfee 8.7.0i. It is up to date. Yet the security center
is stating that my virus protection is out of date. What to do? I have
turned on and off the system 3 times and nothing has changed.
Recommendations?

Overide it and indicate you will monitor it.

Note that McAfee v8.70i is the Enterprise, not retail, version. Is this on a home
computer or a business computer that participates in a corporate network ?

Check with McAfee? Try their forums for others with the same/similar
problem.

If you go to Security Center, you should be able to tell it what AV you have
and how/whether to monitor it. I like the way it sets up because, as
happens, my NIS didn't start once and it alerted me because instead of
turning off alerts I just told it what I had for AV. AV protection is one of
the things presented to you when you first open the security center. Oh:
SP3 here.
