searching a calendar

Hi All,

I have a weird problem with one users calendar.

When she searches it for a meeting that is in the calendar it only brings
back entries for 2007. If you do and advanced find it brings back all the
meetings past, present and future.

This is only happening to one user that I know of and she is using outlook
2003. I have ran through the normal stuff with /cleanfreebusy /cleanviews
/resetfolders etc and I have recreated the profile. None of these has made
any difference.

Does anyone have any ideas?

TIA

Andy

Exchange version? Is she using instant search? Are you indexing the exchange
server?

Sorry.... we are using exchange 2003 with no indexing.

The strange thing is that is only seems to be affecting one account that I
know about

It sounds like the events are in a different calendar - however, advanced
find won't search both the exchange calendar and an archive pst at the same
time (so they weren't archived using autoarchive), but it can search all
folders within the mailbox.

Hi Diane,

I think I may have explained this poorly.

this is a delegate looking at her managers calendar. They are only looking
at he "live" exchange calendar.

When you look in the calendar for an item it is visible in the calendar, the
example we used was a meeting that was reoccurring every 2 weeks and had
entries both in the past and the future. If we used the standard find option
then it only ever brings back entries in the past not any that are in the
future. If I use the advanced find then the entries are found and displayed.

I have ran through all the standard stuff I can think of /cleanviews,
/cleanfreebury, /resetfolders, made sure user and delegate are on the same
server, recreated the delegates profile, etc but no joy. So far it only
seems to be affect this one user and manager.

Both are using outlook 2003 as their client

Thanks for all your help with this

Regards

Andy
