search window

I am having a search window appear everytime I restart the
computer and go online. It also has a habbit of
redirecting me to another website to download that
particular page. Is there an option to disable the search
window from reappearing as I explained? If not is there a
way to find whatever has attached to the browser and
remove it? Yesterday I used ad-aware and it did not find
the problem because it still exists on the browser. If
anyone has any suggestions as to how I can rid myself of
this annoying problem I would appreciate your input.

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
