search suddenly won't

When I click on start / search / for file or folders I get nothing ?
Also the search the internet goes nowhere.
The search for people works fine.

Anyone have any Ideas ? The file or folders used to work suddenly not
now. I never used the internet one anyway.

hi Steven,

same problem here....seems that nowhere is there a solution.....problems arose after I had patched Windows 2000 server SP4 for a while...and could also have happened after i had re-installed Office97.......do keep me posted if u have the solutions...thanks.....
