search for fax at initual start up

I have xp2 and had similiar problem earlier which with help I fixed now I am getting another message saying it can't find fax. I have never used fax on this machine. I did go from dial-up to high speed recently and did remove the dial-up modem. How do I get rid of trying to start fax.
