I was wanting to know if anyone else was having trouble
with internet explorer being replaced with something
called searchbus.com? I change it and it keeps coming
back. It says "searchbus.com-microsoft internet explorer
provided by @ home". I can't get on the web with it. I
called my ISP and they can't locate it and say they have
never heard of it. It does not show up in the programs.
I need assistance.

You didn't read the User Agreement when you voluntarily downloaded the
search engine from www.searchbus.com. If you go to their FAQ page, they
tell you at the bottom where to download an uninstaller. If that
uninstaller doesn't completely uninstall SearchBus, you can try Adaware
or Spybot.

If you have doubts about free software, read the user agreement and
cancel the install if you don't like the spyware hijacking. If you don't
want to bother with the user agreement, install SpywareGuard and run it
in the background. It detects when installers switch your home page and
searchbars and offers to restore your previous settings and it can also
unhook Browser Helper Objects from IE. But it doesn't stop software
installation that you voluntarily click to start.

A great deal of spyware tells you exactly what the spyware does to your
browser and the spyware web site usually offers you an uninstaller. A
much smaller amount of spyware is installed without any notice to you
(drive-by downloads) and without any ability to uninstall (short of
using Adaware or Spybot).
