are displayed in the event viewer repeatedly.

1. Error Message Text: an error was detected on
device\harddisk1\DR1\ during a paging operation.

2. The Driver Detected a controller error on
\device\scsi\adpu160mb

3. A parity error was detected on \Device\Scsi\adpu160m2.

You would start from updating everything: SCSI cable, SCSI controller BIOS,
system BIOS, disks firmware, SCSI controller drivers and so on. Disconnect
any other SCSI peripherals, if any.

greetings. i hope a lot of people google the newsgroups for this answer
that has resolved similar issues.

i too was logging disk "warnings" with regard to paging and "event id:
51". my solution was to increase the initial size and maximum size of
my paging filesize for my root drive C:.
i was able to double the existing settings and i now use the following
settings;
initial size(MB): 768
maximum size(MB): 1024
Space available : 6789MB of an 8gb disk i'm just using a SQLserver on
this computer.

get to the settings window by; CONTROL PANEL - SYSTEM (icon) - ADVANCED
(tab) - PERFORMANCE OPTIONS (button) - Virtual Memory CHANGE (button).
There you will type your new settings and press SET (button).

Restart the computer.

i didn't keep track of what "critical update" or "service pack" was
installed and what order they were installed to help track down any bug
in MS Updates.
