Checked system log too it shows..

on\device\harddisk3\dr3

2. the device \device\harddisk3\dr3 has a bad block.

can some body tell me what's the problem ???

Still the HDD is not listing in explorer. How to trouble

Your log entry is a good clue. Windows apparently detected a bad block on
the hard drive. Whether this was during a CHKDSK or during the OS writing
data to the block, may help us find the answer. CHKDSK may very well have
marked a bad block in the Master File Table for the drive. If this
happened, then your files and partition still exist but Windows doesn't know
where to find them because the table is destroyed.

Try this:

Right-click My Computer, click Manage
Under Storage, choose Disk Management
See if the disk is listed in the bottom-right pane of this window. If it
is, then see if your partitions still exist. Having this information will
help get to the root of your problem.

Hi there...thanx a lot..

No it's not showing in the location as you told.

But it's listing in device manager -- disk drive list (
right pane window. )

Any clues..pls. help.
