Hi
Could someone help with this one please?
Following a hard disk crash I have just re-installed Windows XP Home Edition.
Everything seems OK except that when windows have scroll bars the scrolling
process redraws the contents of the whole window.
When scrolling down the redraw takes place from top to bottom and when
scrolling up the redraw takes place from bottom to top. It happens whether I
use the scroll buttons, the scroll bar or the mouse wheel.
There is a similar or associated effect whenever a window is moved on the
desktop. Instead of moving smoothly it redraws itself a number of times
before it raeches its new position. These effects occur with all windows eg
IE, Outlook Express, folder windows etc.
It is becoming very irritating and it wasn't there in the old installation.
Does anyone know what is or might be causing this?
Many Thanks
