Scrolling in a cell?

I have a spreadsheet that contains large amounts of text in some
cells. When a user clicks on these cells, is it possible to have a
scroll arrow to scroll up and down through the text rather than have
all the data appear in the formula bar?

Hi Ket (cool name by the way)

I don't know how to create a scroll function, however a
suggestion would be to link the data to another sheet so
that all that appears in the formula bar is the formula.

AFAIK this is not possible

A possible "cure" for such situations ..
remove the formula bar from view, via, for e.g.:
Tools > Options > View tab > Uncheck "Formula bar" > OK
(or via View > Uncheck "Formula bar")

This will ease viewing ..

... And a double-click into the cell would "enable" scrolling via arrow keys
