Screensaver Closes Applications

Ok, this is an odd one.

Occasionally when I return from a screensaver, Windows will attempt to close
the right-most program in the taskbar. If the program requires confirmation
on exit, it won't close, but it will close right away otherwise.

I've only seen this happen on one machine, and only since SP2 was installed.
 
I get the same problem.

I thought it had to do with Seti-boinc, but I uninstalled that. I
have a wireless optical mouse/keyboard with a single USB connection,
not sure if that is it. I have been meaning to try and disable the
screensaver via a keyboard key rather than moving the mouse to see if
that makes a difference.
 
I'm having the same problem as both of you. I'm also using the Microsoft
Wireless desktop and have a feeling that's the cause of it since the problem
only occured after installing the mouse and keyboard. At first I thought it
was maybe just the screensaver but I've had the same problem after changing
it.
