After I installed SP2 i can't change my screen resolution higher than 1024 X
768. Before I had it at 1152 X 864. How can i get it to show that resolution
again? I tried reinstalling the driver and tried updating the driver but no
luck. What
should i do?

SP2 installs Direct X Version 9.0c, however drivers for both the
display adapter and monitor should have remained the same. Have
you checked that the Monitor is defined correctly. Some monitor
definitions restrict the maximum resolution. If Device Manager shows
the monitor as "Plug & Play", then you might go to your monitor
vendor's website and get more exact monitor definition drivers &
update the existing driver. Once the monitor is exactly defined, then
all available resolutions for the video card should be available.

NOTE: You may have to uncheck the "Show Compatible Hardware"
option box to manually use the Vendor's driver.

You can go at Display - Settings click Advanced to the Adapter page and
click 'List all Modes'. That will show all that the Video card can
produce. It is then entirely your own risk to make sure that one
selected is within the monitor's actual capacity. That is usually
limited by the horizontal scan rate; so multiply number of lines
(vertical resolution, plus a 10% allowance for flyback) by the refresh
rate, and make sure it is within the limits in the monitor's manual

Hi Nirav!
My suggestion is that check ur monitor rate, dpi at ur monitor
manual/backside and set it up at Display Properties> Settings > advanced >
general/monitor for dpi & rate and set the EXACTLY dpi & rate you founded..
Good Luck from MEeeeEE!! byez!

Remove your video card drivers and install latest drivers for your video
card drivers.

Go to Display - Settings - click advanced

On the Monitor page uncheck 'Hide modes monitor cannot display'

Then on Adapter page click 'List all modes' and select: it will be
entirely up to you to keep within what the monitor *will* handle, so
start with a fairly low refresh rate
