Screen resolution in safe mode

In safe mode, does the screen resolution always default to 640X480?
Because that's my resolution in safe mode.In normal mode, my
resolution is 1280x1024. And that's the resolution I want for safe
mode. I tried changing the res in safe mode, but it does not change.
How can I insure that the res in normal mode is also true for safe
mode?

Yes. Only minimal drivers are loaded in Safe Mode. You have no choice.

I am having a similar problem. When I try to use Safe Mode, I get a message
"OUT OF SCAN RANGE" I have no problem in normal mode. Trying to delete the
Wtoolsexe. files
