Screen of death at start up windows 2000 pro

hi,
since 2 days in our company we have crash of several PC's and the system
can't start with the blue screen and the message :
STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a
status of 0x00000402 (0x0000000 0x00000000)
The system as been shut down.

all PC's are with windows 2K pro and servers (domain controller ) with
Windows 2003 standard edition.

thank you for reply ! but the article can't help because I can't start the
system even in the safe mode or any other options of startup :(

now I m looking for a way to restore the system, because it doesn't start
with any mode.

I can't format and reinstall because the PC's are in use and lot of
applications are installed.

now we have about 40 PCs with this problem, may be it's a new attack I hope
that's I m wrong.
