screen freeze

Downloaded MS security patch as per bulletin, now screen
freezes every few minutes. Both on the net and off. Now
What??? Using HP Pavilion and xp home
 
Go to Classic Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs. Look for the last Hotfix
update you installed and remove it.
 
Go to ADD/REMOVE programs and see if patch is listed and
uninstall,or try system restore point prior to
patch...Good luck.
 
Which security update is this? I'm trying to figure out
what is causing this after running windows update after a
clean install. It's not frozen but the winlogon.exe is
using all of your cpu resources. I want to remove the
update but there were 26 updates installed!
