Scheduled task problem

I have Mcafee Virus protector scheduled to run at 12:00AM every day. It
never runs. I have the check box checked to wake computer to run. I get
the following status in scheduled task window. "RUN= NEVER RESULT= 0X0

OK here is the problem it is setup automatically by Mcafee. If I set it
to run during the day at 9:00AM it starts and runs fine. If I do it at
12:00AM it won't wake up to run. I have the proper check box set to wake
computer.

Is your computer running at midnight or have you shut it down?

Checking the box to wake the computer applies if the computer
is running in standby mode. Windows does not have the ability
to automatically start your computer. Some systems have this
feature but it is part of the BIOS. Waking your computer at a
set time from any condition other than standby is a hardware
issue.
