scanpst.exe error - Outlook 2007

I tried to run scanpst.exe when I got an error message trying to open Outlook
(Cannot open your default e-mail folders. Errors have been detected in the
file C:\Users\....). However, when I run scanpst.exe, it about finishes
Phase 6 of 8 and then displays the following error message "An error has
occurred which caused the scan to be stopped. No changes have made to the
scanned file." Any suggestions?

If SCANPST can't handle the errors, you'll need to avail yourself of one of
the commercial PST fixers. Google "(pst OR "personal folders" OR office)
recovery".

Now you know why you should make frequent backups of your Outlook data.
