Outlook 2003 problems

I keep getting an error message when I try to send, receive, delete, almost
anything try. I have tried the scanpst.exe file 3 times, but it stops on
step 6 of 8 each time. Here's the error message, can anyone help?

Errors have been detected in file C/: Doc & Set/(user name)/local
settings/application data/Microsoft/Outlook/outlook0.ost. Quit Outlook and
all email applications, and then used the Inbox repair tool (scanpst.exe) to
diagnose and repair errors in file. For more info about the Inbox repair
tool, see help.

Are you synching email to an Exchange server then? You can, with Outlook
closed, safely rename the .OST file. Open Outlook and the file will
recreate.

I'll try that.
Thank you.

Yes, it's through the company. I renamed the .ost file per another answer
and I can at least send emails now, but I can't seem to download emails from
the server side, maybe I need to rename the .ost file back to the original
name?

I can send emails now, thank you. Now I can't get the server to send me my
emails to my personal folder, I did change that setting back. Would I need
to rename the .ost file back to the original name now?

The OST has been recreated. You don't need to rename the old one back since
it was likely causing the original problem.
Where are your emails going now?
