Hi, I seem to have had a very similar problem to this. I had an Epson
Perfection 1250 scanner, which seemed to spontaneously stop working. It was
creating the same error messages. I then bought a CanoScan LiDE 70 which also
had the same problem. Epson support have tried numerous things with the
Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) software and re-installing the drivers,
however this has been no help. Both the scanners work on another computer.
Both are running Windows xp SP2, so I can't work out why they work on one
computer but not another!
