My computer is not excepting my scanner it doesnt have the same manufacturer.
My scanner is a canon and theres nothing like that listed on the computer
what do i do?

the scanner should have come with drivers. if you dont have them you will
need to search on the canon website. it is these drivers that tell the pc
what you are trying to connect. have you these? and have you loaded
/installed them on to your pc first before 'plugging in' the scanner?.
by the way what model is it?. any new wscanner will come with its drivers
and software

What make and model of scanner have you got? How are you trying to install
it? If you have a USB scanner, you will have disconnect it, then install
the software and wait until the on-screen prompt tells you when to
re-connect it.
