Scanner

I have Terminal Server running on Windows 2003 Server.
Remote users connect to a foxpro application on the server.
I would like to know that if I can use a scanner on a remote client and the
scanned files be transfer to the server ( through mapping a drive ).

So the question is : Can my RDC recognize the scanner attached the the thin
client computer.?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Sergio Ortiz

No. You will need a 3th party product for scanning:

RemoteScan from http://www.remote-scan.com/
lets you share any kind of TWAIN scanner (SCSI / USB / Firewire,
etc.)

LWP DokScan for RDP
http://www.lwp.de/distribution/distr_produkte_details.jsp?id=161
(web site in German)

ScanShare Pro from Netcore (SCSI)
http://www.netcore.com.tw/product.htm

Some scanner models (e.g. HP Scanjet 7400, connected to a
workstation via USB) include network scanner sharing, and are
accessible by terminal server users.
