Scanner and Camera Wizard

[In Trouble]

I recently installed an Epson scanner and the next day my
wife went to download pictures from her digital camera and
the wizard she uses did not come up like it used to. I
tried to convince her that she could still move pictures
from the camera drive to the folder but she liked the way
the wizard allowed her to check what pictures she wanted
to save. I tried to bring up the wizard but I get a
message saying it doesn't recognize the camera. Anyone
have any ideas how to restore the wizard?

I have the same problem. Tried an autofix for auto play (located it on Microsoft Site), did not fix my problem. My camera supports 2 types of usb connection, normal and PTP. Normal is recommended setup. I selected PTP, autoplay loads and the option for camera wizard is avaible only problem is that it will not allow you to delete photos on completion, you have to delete them using the camera settings. Hope this is of assistance.

Hi,

Try swapping the USB port you're plugged into - sometimes that helps for
some reason. Otherwise try reinstalling the camera drivers; that'll sort it.
