Camera and scanner wizard problem

Jordan

I hook my Nikon to my computer directly. At first, Microsoft's camera and
scanner wizard would pop up automatically, and give me options for uploading
my pictures. Now, for an unknown reason, nothing pops up to give me options,
and I have to find my camera under the drive and manually move the pictures.
Does anyone know why the wizard is not appearing?
I have a similar problem with my disk drive, which still reads disks but
does not automatically bring up the media player as it usually did. This
leads me to believe it may be a mechanical problem. Thanks for the help.
