scan a photo

I can't find instructions on how to scan a photo. I'd like to add it to my
photo gallery. Windows 2003. I've done it in the past- Please help!

She gave the right advice, since MS word is not a scanner.
Of course, being the smart person you are, you had no way of knowing that
figuring out how to operate a scanner has nothing to do with MS Word.
