saving to e mail

I had this site on an older ver. of Front Page. When I up graded to 2003 my
form will not sent to e mail address. I get this message when I add the e
mail address.
" This form cannot be conifigured to send results via E Mail. The web site
may be located on a disk based location(what ever that is) or on a server
that has not been configured to send e mail, contact your system admin or
internet service provider for more info would you like to remove the e mail
recipent yes or no"
All thru the site I have e mail address place to send me e mail and they
work fine its just in this from form or any form for that matter. The one I
am using is a custom made one but a wizard built one won't work either. I
need e mail notifacation Help thanks

Because the email address in a form needs the FrontPage extensions to work.
If your site has FrontPage extensions, ignore the message and then publish the page
with the form to the server using http://wwwyourwebsite.com

Do "not" use the ftp:// address.

still doesen't work now i get a server error. I amy using XP64 does that
matter. I just tried a wizard form and that doesn't work either got a server
error. and I do have Front page extentions in stalled.
