Saving photos as JPEGs instead of bitmaps (BMP).

This just started a few weeks ago: When I try to save a
picture from an email or the web, the only option I get
is to save it as a bitmap. I have even tried to save JPEG
files from my hard drive and it still only gives me the
bitmap option. This happens even when I know the image is
a JPEG. I know to clear the cookies from my PC and this
has always worked before, but it doesn't work now.

Asked and answered mere hours ago, this one. For the record, clear your
Temporary Internet Files (not your cookies) from Ie's preferences. Or
better still, use a better web browser :)
