Saving emailed photos as JPEG not BITMAP

I'm struggling! Can anyone help? I'm trying to save a photo that has been
emailed to me, but it only saves it as bitmap. If it does save as JPEG then
when I go into my pictures, it says "preview not available". HELP!!

I'm having the same problem Nutty. I had one reply but it didn't seem to
help. You can refer to it in my correspondence on 2-17-05, and see if it
helps you at all. Good luck, I'm still trying to find an answer. Mine used
to work now it doesn't. Really confusing.

Hi Lyn, I got a reply from someone and it worked, lets see if I can remember
it! Right click on the picture, go to "save as" and into paint. Then go into
ur file type, change to JPEG and click save, its as simple as that if Ive
remembered correctly. Good luck!!
