saving outlook info

seems that every time I shut down my outlook 2003 for my email, when I
re-open it, it doesnt save my settings, my signature and my reading view
etc.. I change it all, I hit apply but it still keeps happening.. can someone
please advise what may be going on? thanks so so much

This is an indication that Outlook isn't shuttong down properly. See if
