saving jpegs

I have a similar problem as two others have posted. When
I try to save images by right clicking and choosing
the "save as" option; the only choices I get is to save
the image as ART(*.art), or I can use he drop down bar
and it only offers to save it as a BITMAP(*.bmp). The
prolem may have arisen immediately after I installed AOL
inot my laptop. I have XP home edition on a Pavillion
ze5470us.

Yes, it did arise after you installed AOL. AOL uses a proprietory format
for its images, called ART. To get the use of JPGs back again, set the WWW
options within AOL to NOT use compressed graphics.

Then right click on the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop and select
Properties. From the first tab, General, click on Delete Temporary Internet
files. You'll now have the option to save as JPGs again.
