help with saving jpeg?

I am trying to go to a website and save the jpeg. I right click on the
picture. I choose "save picture as." then I save it to the desktop (for
example) Before I click "save" I only have 2 options. the 2 options are
..art and bitmap. I do not have a gif or jpeg option to choose. I am not
sure why this is happening. It seems like some setting has changed and all
my jpegs are being turned into .art or bitmap.

Does anyone have a clue on this?
Any help would be great.
Thanks Annette
