Saving items automatically while I work on my computer.

Hello all.
Newbie here.
Is there a way to set up my Win2000Pro computer to
automatically save/backup items while I work ? I do not
want to lose anything in case my computer freezes.

Many applications have this feature built in. Take a look in the apps that
you're using.
