Saving images of net

I am trying to save pictures from internet by right
clicking on them and save as. However it will only allow
me to save as either an art* file or a bmp* file. Thus
making it impossible to view in windows picture and fax
viewer. how can i change these file setting to allow me
to save as jpeg or gif's? Somebody please

I had the same problem and found the solution earlier.Go

to [http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;810978] Follow the instructions for removing damaged
and unknown files. This worked for me.
