Can't save pictures as Jpeg.

Chris

Hi,
I have Windows XP Home Edition and I'm having trouble
saving pictures. When I Right click and "save picture as"
on any photo from a website, it never has the option to
save as a jpg or jpeg file. Only options are bmp. and
art. Even if the file is a jpeg file, it will not show up
in the options to be saved as one. I have tried typing
in "file name.jpeg", but when I try to open it, it says
that it's not a valid file. So everything I save has to
be bmp. and opened with paint, or Windows picture and fax
viewer.

Can anyone help me out and let me know what I need to do,
so I can save pictures as jpg, jpeg, and others?

Thanks!
