Saving Image file

when saving dowmloaded image file it used to be JPEG format. Now since I got
broadband connection all images are saved in the bitmap format. Is there way
to change back to JPEG format.

This problem normally caused in Internet Explorer (which I assume is the
web browser you are using) when temp space fills up... In IE, Menu:
Tools/Internet Options, Gneral Tab, "Delete Files..." buttin in
Temporary Internet files.

Basically, you need to clean up your temporary Internet files.

broadband connection all images are saved in the bitmap format.

This happens when the Temporary INternet files folder gets too full and
overloads the index (the broadband is coincidental). Go to Internet
Options and in the middle, in Temp Internet Files, click Delete Files.
Then click Settings and reduce the space allowed - 50 MB is probably
plenty
